This dataset contains project-level data on European cross-border electricity interconnectors assessed in the ENTSO-E Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) 2024 and their designation status in the PCI 2025 list.
The dataset combines publicly available information on socio-economic welfare (SEW), capital expenditure (CAPEX), project maturity, and national development plan (NDP) inclusion. Project promoter type (TSO vs. non-TSO/private) was manually validated based on project descriptions and publicly available sources.
The dataset was constructed to analyse how welfare-based assessments interact with institutional sequencing and regulatory prioritisation in European electricity infrastructure planning. All underlying data are derived from publicly available sources.
