Beratung zu Pränataldiagnostik und eventueller Behinderung: psychosoziale Sicht Counselling regarding prenatal diagnostics and possible disablement: A psychosocial view

Die Arbeit stellt vor dem Hintergrund der inzwischen routinemäßigen Durchführung vorgeburtlicher Untersuchungen besonders zwei Aspekte dar: Das Erleben der Frauen im Entscheidungskonflikt bei Inanspruchnahme von Pränataldiagnostik und die psychosozialen Rahmenbedingungen zur Zeit der Entscheidungsfindung. Es geht in diesem Zusammenhang noch einmal grundlegend um das Profil psychosozialer Beratung, die Anforderungen an die Qualifikation und Kompetenzen der Beraterinnen und Berater und die strukturellen Bedingungen in bezug auf den bestehenden Rechtsanspruch auf Beratung. Before the background of today's routine of carrying out prenatal examinations, this study focuses on two aspects in particular: The women's experiences in the decisive conflict when making use of prenatal diagnostics as well as the psychosociological framework conditions at the time of their decision making.
