Uniaxial Compressive Strength Testing of Hollow Concrete Block Prisms

This database showcases experimental results obtained by testing prisms constructed from hollow concrete blocks under uniaxial compression. Prisms with 2, 3, and 4 courses were tested, employing mortar placement in both the net area and on the lateral faces.
The processed results are presented in Excel sheets, featuring stress-strain graphs. The efforts were computed based on the gross and net area for prisms with mortar placed in full-shell and the effective area for prisms with mortar placed on the face-shell-bedding.
Moreover, accompanying photos from the tests are included, enabling observation of the specimen failures achieved during the experiments.
