Microbial resuscitation from hyperarid surface soils

The specific aim of this research was to characterize the temporal response of hyperarid soil AD microbial communities to an ex situ simulated rainfall event without nutrient amendment and to determine whether the response is replicated by distinct communities from different hyperarid sites.
