资源简介:
The current bioproject is dedicated to microorganisms isolated from the intestines of the larvae of wood boring beetles inhabiting Norwegian Boreal forests (ecoregion PA0608). The active larvae of the beetles belonging to Cerambycidae family were collected in June 2017 from under the bark of the spruce logs. The logs were cut in June 2016 and left on site until next summer. The experimental site was located at the central part of Hedmark county, Norway. The intestines of the larvae were aseptically excised, homogenised in sterile saline (0.9% NaCl) and plated on Carboxymethylcellulose agar (2.5% CMC). Unique single isolates were identified using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing and further subjected to SMRT sequencing. The current work has been performed by Alexander K. Bekkelund in frames of ABAWARE project funded via EU JPI Water 2016 Programme.
