Effect of levamisole on conditionally immortalized human podocytes (cihPod)

We performed bulk RNA sequencing to investigate the molecular mechanism of levamisole in podocytes in vitro. We found that levamisole modulates the expression of various genes involved in actin cytoskeleton signaling in podocytes. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from bulk RNA-seq of two conditions (cihPod compared to cihPod treated with 1 µM levamisole for 24 hours). We performed bulk RNA sequencing on cihPod (vehicle) and cihPod treated with levamisole 1 µM for 24 hours. The two conditions were compared to each other with 3 replicates per condition.
