Investigation of gene-expression profile of high immune-competent pigs

Transcriptional profiling of macrophages derived from immune-selected (phagocytosis, complement activity in the alternative pathway, and antibody response after vaccination with swine erysipelas) in comparison with those from normal pigs Changes of gene expression of macrophages stimulated with lipid A were detected in comparison with unstimulated macrophages, and profiles of the changes were compared between macrophages derived from immune-selected and normal pigs.
