资源简介:

Data and code for: Mafimisebi, P. Time-dependent species sensitivity distributions and acute water quality criteria for heavy metals in freshwater (submitted to Aquatic Toxicology). This record contains the data and analysis code used to derive time-dependent species sensitivity distributions (SSDs), hazardous concentrations for 5% of species (HC5), acute water quality criteria and acute ecological risks for six heavy metals (Cd, Cr(VI), Cu, Pb, Fe and Zn) in nine Nigerian freshwater systems. Files: Supplementary_Material_1.xlsx – Tables S1–S27: screened ECOTOX toxicity records (S1–S6), species composition (S7), LC50–time regressions (S8–S13), predicted log10 LC50 at 1–4 days (S14–S19), SSD goodness of fit (S20), exposure data for nine Nigerian freshwater systems (S21, S21b), fitted distribution parameters (S22), sensitivity analyses (S23, S26, S27), HC5 and water quality criteria (S24) and acute ecological risk (S25). make_all_figures.ipynb – Jupyter/Google Colab notebook that recomputes the regressions, SSDs, HC5, water quality criteria and risks from the tables and reproduces every figure in the article. make_all_figures.py – the same code as a plain Python script. README.md – instructions for running the code. The code checks its results against Tables S14–S19, S22, S24 and S25 and stops with an error if any value differs. Toxicity data were obtained from the U.S. EPA ECOTOX Knowledgebase; exposure data were compiled from 58 published studies listed in Table S21.
