Microbial diversity in mouse gut affected by capsaicin intervention

The goal is to assess the impact of capsaicin intervention on C57BL/6J gut microbiota composition. Mice were fed with a high dose of capsaicin for one month and the fecal pellets were collected to assess the structural and functional changes in microbiota over time.
