Outputs of the study 'Global spatially detailed water footprint of crop production over five decades'

The outputs that support the study titled 'Global spatially detailed water footprint of crop production over five decades' are provided here. The text files in the compressed folder contains water footprints in cubic meters per year at grid level (5 arcmin resolution) for years 1972-1976 and 2014-2018. Each text file contains the water footprint of a crop. The numbers in the names of the text file represents crop codes which are provided in the supplementary excel file. WF_m3y_gn = green water footprint in cubic meters per year WF_m3y_bl = blue water footprint in cubic meters per year National and global water footprint estimates are provided in the supplementary excel file for years 1972-2018.
