资源简介:
Adverse events in early development can have a significant impact on brain development in animals and humans. Social isolation rearing of rodents has been shown to induce cognitive and behavioral dysfunction in adult animals. Early social isolation can cause persistent changes in the behavioral patterns and neural system structure of humans and animals, similar to the impact of early life experiences on the development of certain mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, personality disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, etc.) in humans. To explore gene expression, transcriptional regulation, and functional gene activity in the prefrontal cortex tissue and amygdala tissue of socially isolated mice, we performed RNA-seq on prefrontal cortex and amygdala samples from 7-week-old control and socially isolated mice.
