STING phosphoserine 358 engages IRF3 to activate NF-kB at late endolysosomal compartments

To map the responsive transcriptome across vertebrates, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from humans, mice, chickens, turtles, and carp were stimulated ex vivo with cGAMP for 6 h, and gene expression was quantified by RNA-seq. Overall design: The PBMCs from human, mouse, chicken, turtle, and carp were treated with 50ug/ml cGAMP for 6 hours. Total RNA was extracted and utilized to construct cDNA libraries for subsequent sequencing.
