This dataset was co-developed by the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, focusing on research into droplet morphology in inkjet printing systems. It contains over 300,000 records, each of which includes high-resolution droplet images and their geometric features such as elliptical semi-axis lengths, droplet centroids and other relevant parameters. All data was experimentally collected from a piezoelectric inkjet printing system. Droplets are generated via a three-voltage pulse scheme, and features are extracted using image processing techniques, ensuring the reproducibility and transparency of the dataset. The application scenarios of this dataset cover inkjet printing, microelectronic manufacturing and biomedicine, and it aims to optimize droplet generation processes and improve printing accuracy and efficiency through data-driven approaches.
