Dataset for Framing the Enemy, Justifying the Strike

The dataset supporting the findings of this study is provided as supplementary material. It comprises four sheets containing systematically coded and categorised textual data derived from 1) news articles, 2) policy commentaries, and 3) elite statements collected between January and March 2025. These data cover four dimensions of analysis: securitisation framing, strategic narratives, elite discourse, and comparative media positions. Each entry includes metadata (title, URL, publication date), extracted content, and binary or categorical coding on relevant analytical variables. No proprietary or confidential information is included.
