This study aims to find out students’ reading comprehension levels based on the Common European Framework Reference (CEFR), and to establish whether students who received elaborative feedback on an online reading comprehension test would be more effective than students who did not get elaborative feedback to enhance their English Language reading comprehension. Data were analyzed using mean, independent samples t test, and paired sample t test. Thus, the data in this repository contain the raw score of the pretest and post test of both the comparison and the experimental groups as well as the comparison of the mean scores of the experimental and the comparison groups to see the students' level of reading comprehension before the intervention. Moreover, data for the comparison of the mean of the pretest and post-test for the experimental group has been included in the data set and this can be used for the paired samples t-test analysis.
