Population Density

This resource is a map of coastal population areas for statistical Areas level 2. ABS Population and people themed data items published in 2022 by Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2), 2021This dataset presents a range of data items sourced from a wide variety of collections, both Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and non-ABS. The data is derived from the 22 November 2023 release of Data by region (DBR) . Individual data items present the latest reference year data available on DBR. This layer presents data by Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2), 2021.The Population and people theme is based on groupings of data within Data by region (DBR). Concepts, sources and methods for each dataset can be found on the Data by region methodology page.The Population and people theme includes: Estimated resident population (including age by sex) Births and deaths Internal and overseas migration Census dataWhen analysing these statistics, care needs to be taken as time periods, definitions, methodologies, scope, and coverage can differ across collections. Some data values have been randomly adjusted or suppressed to avoid the release of confidential data. In some cases small cells have been randomly altered to zero. Care should be taken when interpreting cells with small numbers or zeros.本资源为适配二级统计区域（Statistical Areas Level 2, SA2）的沿海人口区域地图，采用2021年二级统计区域划分标准，包含2022年发布的澳大利亚统计局（Australian Bureau of Statistics, ABS）人口与人文主题数据条目。 本数据集涵盖多类数据条目，数据来源涵盖澳大利亚统计局（ABS）及非ABS机构的各类馆藏数据集。所有数据均源自2023年11月22日发布的《区域数据》（Data by region, DBR），各数据条目均采用该平台可获取的最新参考年度数据。 本图层基于2021年二级统计区域（SA2）标准呈现数据。人口与人文主题数据集基于《区域数据》平台内的数据分组规则构建，各数据集的概念定义、数据来源及研究方法可查阅《区域数据》方法学页面。 人口与人文主题数据集包含以下内容： - 估计常住人口（含分年龄、分性别人口数据） - 出生与死亡人口 - 国内及海外移民数据 - 人口普查数据 在分析此类统计数据时需格外谨慎，因不同馆藏数据集的统计时段、定义标准、研究方法、统计范围及覆盖情况均可能存在差异。部分数据值已进行随机调整或隐匿处理，以避免泄露涉密数据；部分场景下，少量数据单元格已被随机置零。解读包含少量数值或零值的单元格时需谨慎处理。
