-Tree Rings
-Coral
-Ice Cores
-Speleothems
This dataset contains data on coral, which is an important indicator of past rainfall and sea surface temperature. Samples have been taken from the Great Barrier Reef, Indonesia and the south western Pacific. Data tracks changes in the bands in the coral shell which are affected by rainfall, temperature and nutrient availability, which contributes to knowledge of the cycles of cooling and warming in south eastern Australia.
