资源简介:
This dataset contains continuous water quality, hydrological, and meteorological measurements collected from buoy deployments in the Coral Gables Waterway and Little River, two urban canals in Miami, Florida (USA), from 2021 to 2024. Parameters measured by the buoys include pH, temperature, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, chlorophyll a, fluorescent dissolved organic matter (fDOM), and directional flow speed. These measurements were collected at high temporal frequency to capture variability associated with hydrological conditions, seasonal changes, and episodic events. Additional precipitation and canal discharge data obtained from the South Florida Water Management District are included to characterize the influence of rainfall and water management operations on canal hydrology and water quality. Hydrological phase classifications are also provided to support the interpretation of flow dynamics. These data were collected as part of the Center for Aquatic Chemistry and Environment (CREST) at Florida International University to support research on biogeochemical and hydrological processes in urban coastal waterways. Data collection for this dataset is complete and includes measurements from 2021 through 2024.
