DCR-DWSP Trails and Roads (Public View)
收藏资源简介:
The DCR-DWSP Trails and Roads data layer is the official trail and road data layer for the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Division of Water Supply Protection (DWSP). This layer provides detailed attribute information to accompany each trail or road. This information clearly specifies the allowed activities that users can participate in on each trail or road throughout the DWSP land system. To learn more about what you can do and where, please click or tap on a road to review information within a feature pop-up, or review the attribute table. Each named trail or road within this layer has been labeled with the name of the feature. If there is no name, then no label will appear. To provide the best user experience, these labels do not show up until the user zooms in to a large scale on the map. The intent of these labels is aid in wayfinding and orientation. The feature pop-up has been configured to include detailed information about the trail condition, blazing/markings and allowed uses. This pop-up meets accessibility guidelines under EEA's web map accessibility best practices. This layer has a default symbology set that utilizes the line "Type" attribute. This classifies the layer as follows: Public or Administrative Road - these feature as shown by a solid black line with 2.25pt line width. Forest Road/Trail - these features are shown by a solid green line with 1.75pt line width. Trail - these features are shown by a dashed brown line. Other - these features are shown by a dotted grey line. While a default symbology has been provided, you can modify the symbology to visualize the data by a number of other attributes; some suggested attributes that may be suitable are: Map Symbol (Subtype) or Status. To explore this layer in a configured application, please visit the DCR-DWSP Public Access Map's Trail Map.
