Research Dataset on the Mechanisms and Pathways of Digital Technology Empowerment and High-End Disruptive Innovation in Enterprises

This dataset contains panel data of Chinese A-share high-tech enterprises from 2018 to 2023, with a focus on analyzing the relationship between digital technology empowerment, knowledge capital accumulation, and high-end disruptive innovation. The dataset includes multiple dimensions of indicators, mainly covering basic information of enterprises (such as industry, whether they are state-owned enterprises, establishment year, etc.), financial and innovation performance indicators, digital empowerment index (DI), knowledge capital (KC), high-end disruptive innovation index (HDI), etc. Through regression analysis of these variables, this study aims to explore how digital empowerment promotes high-end innovation through the accumulation of knowledge capital, and further affects the operational performance, innovation performance, and cost performance of enterprises. The key variables in the dataset include the financial leverage (Lev), research and development intensity (RD), digital technology empowerment (DI), technological, organizational, and market dimensions of knowledge capital (KC_Tech, KC'Org, KC_Skt), as well as various levels of high-end disruptive innovation (such as high-end innovation products, market disruption, and value reconstruction).
