Identification of salt tolerant genes in Mozambique tilapia

we conducted F2 hybrid tilpia crossed from mozambique tilapia and nile tilpia. The fish were challenged with salt and collected kidney and gill. These samples were used to conducted RNA-seq and obtained the DEGs. The DEGs were used for mapping to QTL and GWAS study results for narrow down the candidate genes for searching salt tolerance genes.
