Panel data OECD and BRICS power sector policy paper dataset - 1990-2017

This dataset contains the variables used in this power sector policy paper, expect CO2 emission intensity (IEA database) data due to IEA licensing agreement as the product was purchased from them. The dataset contains data on 34 OECD countries (while the analysis only included 31) and 5 BRICS countries, from 1990 - 2017. The power sector policy paper uses a time period from 2000-2015. The variables are EU ETS price (Cross-referenced from several sources), RPS data (REN21), Feed-in tariffs for solar PV and wind (OECD.Stat database) and patent data on climate change mitigation technologies related to (1) energy generation, transmission or distribution and, (2) renewable energy, economic growth (OECD.Stat database), (World bank indicators), Industry share of GDP (World bank indicators), Electricity consumption (World bank indicators).本数据集涵盖本电力部门政策论文所使用的全部变量，仅除外二氧化碳排放强度相关数据：由于该类数据源自国际能源署（International Energy Agency, IEA）数据库，而本数据集相关产品系从IEA采购所得，受其授权许可协议限制，故未将该数据纳入本数据集。 数据集覆盖1990年至2017年间的34个经合组织（Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD）成员国（本次分析仅纳入其中31个）以及5个金砖国家（BRICS）。本电力部门政策论文的分析时段为2000年至2015年。 所涉及的变量包括：欧盟碳排放交易体系（EU ETS）价格（经多源交叉校验）、可再生能源配额制（RPS）数据（来自全球可再生能源政策网络REN21）、太阳能光伏与风电上网电价补贴数据（来自OECD.Stat数据库），以及两类气候变化减缓技术的专利数据：(1) 能源发电、输电或配电相关技术；(2) 可再生能源相关技术；此外还包含经济增长数据（分别来自OECD.Stat数据库与世界银行发展指标）、GDP产业占比数据（来自世界银行发展指标）以及电力消费量数据（来自世界银行发展指标）。
