ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE LITERACY IN STEM EDUCATION: DEVELOPING FUTURE-READY SKILLS FOR THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF LEARNING
收藏资源简介:
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is transforming education systems worldwide and creating new requirements for digital competence development. Among emerging educational priorities, AI literacy has become an essential component of modern STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. This study explores the importance of integrating AI literacy into STEM learning environments to develop future-ready skills, enhance computational thinking, and prepare students for the demands of the digital economy. The research examines the conceptual relationship between AI literacy and STEM education by analyzing the role of artificial intelligence in improving teaching methodologies, personalized learning, problem-solving skills, and interdisciplinary knowledge development. The study proposes that AI literacy should not be limited to technical programming skills but should include understanding AI concepts, ethical considerations, data awareness, critical evaluation of AI-generated information, and responsible technology use. The findings indicate that AI-integrated STEM education can strengthen students’ creativity, analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and ability to solve complex real-world problems. However, successful implementation requires appropriate curriculum development, teacher training, digital infrastructure, and ethical guidelines. The study concludes that AI literacy represents a fundamental educational competency necessary for preparing learners to participate effectively in an increasingly intelligent and technology-driven society.
