Southern Water Domestic Drinking Water Quality 2016_2018_part1

Water companies in the UK are responsible for testing the quality of drinking water. This dataset contains the results of samples taken from the taps in domestic households by Southern Water to make sure they meet the standards set out by UK and European legislation. This data shows the location, date, and measured levels of determinands, for both measures set out by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) and additonal measures. Many UK water companies provide a search tool on their websites where you can search for water quality in your area by postcode. The results of the search may identify the water supply zone that supplies the postcode searched. Water supply zones are not linked to LSOAs which means the results may differ to this dataset Some sample results are influenced by internal plumbing and may not be representative of drinking water quality in the wider area. Some samples are tested on site and others are sent to scientific laboratories. This data is part of a dataset containing all mearusred samples from 2016 to 2026英国境内的水务公司均负责饮用水水质检测工作。本数据集收录了南方水务（Southern Water）从英国家庭水龙头采集的水样检测结果，用于验证其水质符合英国及欧盟立法设定的相关标准。本数据集包含采样地点、采样日期以及各项检测指标的实测浓度，涵盖饮用水监察局（Drinking Water Inspectorate, DWI）规定的强制检测项与额外检测项。英国多家水务公司在其官方网站均提供邮编查询工具，用户可通过邮编检索所属区域的饮用水水质情况。该查询结果可匹配对应邮编的供水区域。供水区域未与下层超级输出区（LSOAs）挂钩，因此查询结果可能与本数据集存在差异。部分采样结果受用户家庭内部供水管路影响，无法代表更大范围区域的饮用水水质整体状况。部分水样采用现场检测方式，其余则送往科研实验室完成检测。本数据为涵盖2016年至2026年全部实测水样的完整数据集的组成部分。
