Active (cDNA) and Present (DNA) coral microbiomes from wild Woods Hole Astrangia poculata: Reshuffling of the microbial community and key taxa during and after dormancy in temperate coral, Astrangia poculata

Wild, aposymbiotic Astrangia poculata corals were collected before, during and after quiescence over 9 time points. Whole corals polyps were co-extracted for DNA and RNA, and the 16S rRNA gene was sequenced. Additionally, water samples taken at 8 of the time points.
