Probabilistic nucleosome scoring and protection/breakpoint peak maps of circulating cell-free DNA

This dataset includes genome-wide nucleosome protection scoring (NPS) tracks in bigWig format, alongside nucleosome protection peak and cfDNA breakpoint peak calls in bigBed format, as described in the study “Probabilistic nucleosome scoring for high-resolution mapping of circulating cell-free DNA breakpoints and chromatin topologies.” The NPS method models the likelihood of nucleosome protection at each genomic base by integrating fragment size and end positions from cfDNA sequencing, offering enhanced resolution compared to traditional windowed protection scoring. Corresponding peak calls mark the inferred centers of nucleosome occupancy, derived from regions of at least 50 base pairs of positive NPS signal. Together, these resources provide a high-resolution framework for analyzing nucleosome positioning, chromatin topology, and cfDNA fragmentation across the genome.
