Drifter trajectories in the Fram Strait and Barents Sea

A data set of undrogued drifter trajectories deployed on open ocean in the Fram Strait and Barents Sea in the time period from April 2022 until March 2023. A total of 15 drifters were deployed in the Fram Strait - West Spitsbergen region in Spring 2022, as part of the CIRFA-22 cruise. This cruise was conducted by the Centre for Integrated Remote Sensing and Forecasting for Arctic Operations (CIRFA). Other 6 drifters were deployed in the Barents Sea (Hopendjupet and Bjørnøya) in Summer 2022 as part of the CAGE22-6 cruise. The cruise was conducted by the Centre for Arctic Gas Hydrate, Environment and Climate (CAGE).
