Thisarticleanalyzestheissuesofintroducingarisk-basedmonitoringsystemforassessingandimprovingeducationqualityingeneralsecondaryeducationinstitutions.Thestudyexaminesthemaintypesofrisksaffectingeducationquality,criteriafortheirassessment,andpreventivemeasures.ThelevelofresearchonthisissuewithintheeducationsystemofUzbekistanisanalyzed,andamonitoringmodelapplicableinpracticeisproposed.Theresultsshowthataproactivemonitoringsystembasedonriskanalysiscanserveasanimportanttoolforimprovingqualityineducationalinstitutions,earlyidentificationofproblems,andmakingeffectivemanagementdecisions.Duringthestudy,pedagogical,organizational,material-technical,andsocio-psychologicalriskswereidentified,andmechanismsfortheirassessmentweredeveloped
