This study used the adenocarcinoma-derived PK-8 cell line with SNORA64 knockdown to investigate SNORA64's function in the intrinsic apoptotic pathway. The qPCR results were used to derive the results. Pro-apoptotic genes BID, BAX, BAK, BAD, and BIM, as well as anti-apoptotic genes BCl2 and BCL-Xl, are examined for RNA expression levels. The results are verified using the viability and viable cell number.
