资源简介:

Wireless communication systems are increasingly deployed in rural and forested areas, where vegetation significantly impacts radio propagation. This study presents short-term peer-to-peer propagation measurements conducted at three widely used frequency bands: 2.4, 3.5, and 5.8 GHz. The campaigns were performed in two representative vegetation environments: grasslands and scrublands. Transmitter and receiver antennas were positioned at low heights to emulate wireless sensor network (WSN) nodes (90, 120 and 160 cm), and multiple radials were measured with varying line-of-sight (LoS). At each measurement point, hundreds to thousands of power samples were collected, enabling statistical modeling of fast fading effects.
