Burden of Disease - LGAs/regions 2001 - Ranking of Years Lived with Disability & top 50 causes

The Burden of Disease study uses methods developed originally for the GlobalBurden of Disease study refined and adapted to the Victorian context. Itprovides a comprehensive assessment of the amount of ill health in Victoria,Australia, measured in Ranking of Years Lived with Disability and top 50causes arising from most diseases and injuries.Years Lived with Disability are the morbidity component of the DALY thatcaptures the burden in a population due to years lived in less than fullhealth. It represents the years of healthy life lost due to living withdisability; disease or injury; adjusted for severity.  The Burden of Disease'data' are modelled estimates,  using methods developed originally for theGlobal Burden of Disease study but refined and adapted to the Victoriancontext.

本疾病负担研究采用源自全球疾病负担研究（Global Burden of Disease study）的方法体系，并针对澳大利亚维多利亚州的实际场景进行了优化与适配。该研究全面评估了澳大利亚维多利亚州的不良健康状况规模，评估方式包括按伤残生存年（Years Lived with Disability）进行排名，以及列出引发绝大多数疾病与损伤的前50类诱因。
伤残生存年是伤残调整寿命年（Disability-Adjusted Life Year, DALY）中反映人群因健康状况不全所致疾病负担的发病率组成部分，其代表了因残疾、疾病或损伤而损失的健康生存年数，并已根据病情严重程度进行校正。
本次疾病负担研究的相关数据均为建模估算结果，所用方法源自全球疾病负担研究，并针对维多利亚州的实际场景完成了优化与适配。
