We present the petrological and geochemical data of the regolith breccia and the studied magnetite-bearing impact glass fragment. Additionally, remote-sensing data for the impact melts associated with magnetic anomalies on the Moon is provided. Text S1 contains the thermodynamic calculation for electron exchange reaction. Figures S1 to S5 display the petrological and geochemical characteristics of the studied regolith breccia and the magnetite-bearing impact glass fragment within it. Additionally, remote-sensing observations of the impact melts associated with magnetic anomalies on the Moon are provided in Figures S6 and S7. Table S1 presents the EPMA results of the partially melted ilmenite and impact glass. Table S2 describes the characteristics of the impact-melt-crystallized magnetite, which are mostly consistent with the impact-melt-crystallization formation mechanism. Table S3 presents the EDS results of the metallic iron particle embedded in the impact glass. Table S4 provides a summary of the information for impact melts associated with magnetic anomalies on the Moon.
