Data for: Quantifying heterogeneous deformation in grain boundary regions on shock loaded tantalum using spherical and sharp tip nanoindentation

This data set contains Berkovich and spherical nanoindentation tests on wire-feed additively manufactured pure Ta along with electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) maps. The dataset focuses on the indentation response and EBSD maps at three grain boundaries in a shock deformed sample with incipient spall damage.
