These volumes contain daily records of ships inspected showing: date, rig, name of ship, port of registry, nett registered tonnage, length, breadth, and depth of vessel, freeboard, draught forward and aft, position of plimsoll mark, density, remarks (which note defects and sometimes the movement of the ship), and the inspector's name.
