Agile mindset and collective human and artificial intelligence

As artificial intelligence (AI) systems increasingly mediate knowledge work, understanding the human psychological and collective conditions that support effective human-AI collaboration is critical. This study examines how agile versus non-agile mindsets, conceptualized as cognitive-motivational orientations towards change, experimentation, and iterative learning, relate to collective human intelligence and to employees’ adoption of AI at work. The QUANTITATIVE DATASET is based on 3,871 knowledge workers' responses: 1,871 in the initial study and 2,000 in a replication study, drawn from Poland and Finland across IT and non-IT sectors. Using structural equation modeling, we found that collective human intelligence is a strong predictor of organizational intelligence and that the adoption of AI enhances this relationship.
