The geodataset contains the results of a multi-criteria suitability analysis at a 250 m raster grid scale in Lower Saxony, assessing the spatial potential for decentralised Power-to-Hydrogen (P2H2) production using a 5 MW, 20 MW, and 50 MW electrolysers. The data serves as an advisory resource for stakeholders, identifying sites that are most suitable for P2H2, showing promise for decentralised green hydrogen production.
The dataset was developed as part of the H2-FEE research project: Flexible energy carriers for the energy transition, running from July 2022 to June 2025 and funded by the Lower Saxony Investment and Development Bank (NBank).
