EDUCATIONAL DICTIONARIES OF ANTONYMS: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

This article investigates the theoretical and methodological foundations of compiling educational dictionaries of antonyms in Uzbek linguistics. It analyzes contemporary trends in global lexicography through a comparative perspective, focusing on English and Russian lexicographical traditions. The study identifies key challenges in modern educational dictionary-making and proposes innovative solutions, including the integration of digital discourse, corpus-based lexicography, and the classification of emerging antonymic structures such as economic-conversive and digital antonyms. The research highlights the necessity of combining anthropocentric and computational approaches in modern lexicography.
