Turbidity, sediment-trap samples, and hydrometeorological forcing at the Misa River estuary.

This dataset contains field observations and derived variables used to analyse sediment transport regimes at the Misa River estuary, located on the central Adriatic coast of Italy. The dataset includes wave conditions, tide-gauge water levels, precipitation, river water level and discharge, HEC-RAS-derived discharge time series, and turbidity, suspended sediment concentration (SSC), and water-level measurements from three in-river probes. The dataset also includes analyses of sediment samples collected by a bi-directional sediment trap (in the final river stretch). The data were used to investigate the relative role of river discharge, waves, tide, and meteorological forcing in controlling turbidity, sediment resuspension, transport direction, and net sediment transport toward the sea.本数据集包含野外观测数据与衍生变量，用于分析坐落于意大利亚得里亚海中部沿岸的米萨河河口（Misa River Estuary）的泥沙输运格局。 数据集涵盖波浪条件、潮位站水位、降水、河流水位与流量、由HEC-RAS衍生的流量时间序列，以及3个河道内探头采集的浊度、悬浮泥沙浓度（SSC）与水位观测数据。 本数据集还包含对河道末端段双向泥沙捕集器采集的泥沙样品所开展的分析结果。 上述数据被用于探究河流流量、波浪、潮汐与气象强迫在调控浊度、泥沙再悬浮、输运方向及向海净泥沙输运过程中的相对作用。
