This study investigates the effects of high glucose-induced overexpression of Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 7 (IGFBP7) in mouse podocyte cells (MPC5) using RNA sequencing (RNA-seq). Podocytes were cultured under high glucose conditions to mimic diabetic nephropathy, a common complication of diabetes. The RNA-seq analysis compares the transcriptomic profiles of IGFBP7-overexpressing podocytes with control groups cultured under normal glucose conditions. The goal of this research is to identify differentially expressed genes and pathways associated with IGFBP7 overexpression in the context of high glucose, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetic kidney disease. The data generated from this study will contribute to understanding the role of IGFBP7 in podocyte injury and diabetic nephropathy progression.
