Spatio-temporal variability among loggerhead turtle, Caretta caretta strandings off southern Brazil

This package contains data and R code for the models of the article Fonseca et al. "Spatio-temporal variability among loggerhead turtle,  Caretta caretta strandings off southern Brazil", accepted for publication at ICES Journal of Marine Science. Datasheet "Carettacaretta_strandings_Fonsecaetal2024.csv" contains stranding assessment, necropsy, and biometric information per individual (i.e. Date and time of recording, sex, development stage, size, interaction with anthropogenic activities). All C. caretta stranding data are publicly available in the “Sistema de Informação de Monitoramento da Biota Aquática - SIMBA 1.0.0” platform at https://simba.petrobras.com.br/simba/web/sistema/.
