Single cell genome (partial) of a bacterial cell belonging to the DSC-GIF3-B sub-group of the class Dehalococcoidia (phylum Chloroflexi), isolated from marine sediments (10 cm below seafloor) from Aarhus Bay, Denmark. The cell was isolated by flow cytometry and the DNA amplified by multiple displacement amplification. This study aimed to recover genomic content to enable prediction of metabolic properties, since bacteria related to this cell are widespread and often relatively abundant in marine sediments. The genome recovered is estimated to be c. 42-47% of the full genome.
