Evidence of anthropogenic soils

The map for anthropogenic soils shows areas where soils have been altered by human interventions in structure, structure or width. It shows areas that may be eligible for the compensation of crop rotation areas by means of soil upgrading. For the present data set, various sources were evaluated and the corresponding data objects were merged. Depending on the data source, the hints can be more or less specific, precise or up-to-date. The data product is therefore mainly orientating and does not provide information about soil quality. The characteristics and exact location of anthropogenic soil changes must be determined on a case-by-case basis through field investigations.
