Tasmanian Slope Trophodynamics Study 1991-1993: Physical Oceanographic Data

This record describes the physical oceanographic data collected as part of the 1991-1993 Tasmanian Slope Trophodynamics Study undertaken by CSIRO Division of Fisheries. CTD stations were occupied on 4 cruises of FRV "Southern Surveyor" on three 60 km transects across the continental shelf to the south and south-east of Tasmania. Temperature, salinity and density data were collected to approx. 1000 metres depth in July 1991 (cruise SS 02/91), February 1992 (cruise SS 01/92), November 1992 (cruise SS 04/92) and April 1993 (cruise SS 03/93). The processed data are held as part of the CSIRO Marine Research CTD data holdings. Contour plots and computed mixed layer depths derived from the data are given in the cited report (Figs 3-27).本数据集记录了由澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）渔业部牵头开展的1991-1993年塔斯马尼亚斜坡营养动力学研究中采集的物理海洋学数据。研究团队依托“南方考察者号”渔业研究船（FRV "Southern Surveyor"）执行4次科考航次，在塔斯马尼亚南部及东南部海域的3条60千米长的大陆架断面上布设了温盐深仪（CTD）测站。本次采集的温度、盐度及密度数据覆盖约1000米水深，对应航次分别为1991年7月（SS 02/91航次）、1992年2月（SS 01/92航次）、1992年11月（SS 04/92航次）及1993年4月（SS 03/93航次）。经标准化处理后的数据集已纳入CSIRO海洋研究的温盐深仪数据馆藏体系。相关引用报告中还提供了基于该数据绘制的等值线图及计算得到的混合层深度（图3-27）。
