Genomic information of Rhodoplanes piscinae sp. strain T2.26MG-98 like microorganisms that have been isolated from the deep-subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Southwester Spain) in strict anaerobic conditions.

This project aims to determinate the genomic information of Rhodoplanes piscinae sp. strain T2.26MG-98 like microorganisms that have been isolated from the deep-subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Southwester Spain) in strict anaerobic conditions. The sample were taking from a drill core obtained at 492.60 mbs (meters below surface), during the Iberian Pyrite Belt Subsurface Life Detection project (IPBSL). It was isolated from a methanogenic enrichment culture, and the other from a denitrifying enrichment culture in both cases in a H2:CO2 (80:20) atmosphere.
