Our project aims at studying the microbial commmunities thriving at gas hydrates formed pingos on the seafloor of the Barents Sea. We are using an amplicon-based approach to analyze the eukaryotic communities. Within the same project, libraries for the archaeal and bacterial communities are also available on SRA.
