Lotus japonicus accessions from Japan have been inoculated with a Synthetic Community containing 288 bacterial strains isolated from Cologne soil (Germany), one symbiont alone (M. loti) or Non-Inoculated. The microbiome profile (16S sequencing) of three root compartments (Rhizosphere, Endosphere and Nodules) have been analyzed and the plant growth parameters have been recorded.
