资源简介:
In mammals, exposure to low temperatures triggers the browning of WAT and modulates lipid metabolism to facilitate thermogenesis, thereby sustaining body temperature. Notably, this function varies among different adipose depots. In this study, Hezuo pigs experienced room temperature and low temperature for durations of 24 h, 5 d and 10 d. We harvested inguinal fat (IF) and perirenal fat (PF) to conduct a comprehensive analysis using RNA-seq. RNA-seq data indicated lipid metabolism of IF and PF peaking on day 5 of low-temperature treatment, IF tissue regulates lipid metabolism mainly through genes in the classical lipid metabolism pathway to provide energy for the body to adapt to cold, whereas PF tissue positively affects degenerative diseases in vivo mainly through genes in the neurodegenerative disease pathway. Further investigation is necessary to elucidate the roles of these candidate genes in lipid metabolism within Hezuo pigs and to explore the genetic mechanisms that contribute to cold resistance traits in local pig populations.
