Data supporting legislative empowerment measure (LEM) and accountable local representation measure (ALRM)
These are universal and comprehensive measures of the democratic status of electoral systems, useful in deciding on a replacement electoral system for a country.
The source data is freely available through the Constituency Level Election Archive and the relevant official national sources as referenced internally. Second ballot calculations for single member district proportional representation (SMDPR) was obtained by adjusting an EKOS pre-election poll as shown.
