Focused Honey Bee Hive-Return Flight DatasetOverviewThis dataset contains raw, unprocessed 3D trajectory recordings of focused group honey bee flights during hive-return behavior. The data capture collective flight dynamics as bees approach and enter the hive.The file Data_HoneyBeeFocused.mat includes 25 independent flight trials. The complete dataset may be released in a future update.Data OrganizationThe dataset is stored as a MATLAB structure array. Each element Data(n) corresponds to a single trial (n = 1, 2, ..., 25). For each trial, positional data are stored separately for three spatial dimensions:Data(n).x : x-coordinate positionsData(n).y : y-coordinate positionsData(n).z : z-coordinate positionsFor each dimension (x, y, z), the positional data are stored in a two-dimensional matrix where:Rows represent individual honey bee agents.Columns represent discrete time steps (sampling rate:20 fps).Each matrix entry therefore corresponds to the position of a specific agent at a specific time step.Data Access Example (MATLAB)To access the x-coordinate position of agent b at time step t in trial n, use:Data(n).x(b,t)The same indexing convention applies to the y and z coordinate matrices.
