Wildlife Research. The dataset comprises three CSV files documenting animal handling outcomes during GPS collar deployment on free‑ranging feral pigs. Files include records of (1) handling and anaesthesia–related adverse events and short‑term mortality, (2) time‑to‑event metrics associated with restraint and recovery processes, and (3) post‑release spatial behaviour derived from GPS movement data. Together, these data underpin analyses comparing the welfare and performance implications of darting, pole syringe, and manual restraint techniques.
